60% Add-to-Cart Uplift for Sony Products with expeerly Reviews on Interdiscount

  • The Problem

    Sony wanted to strengthen product performance on Interdiscount by giving shoppers more confidence at the point of sale. While technical specs and marketing videos were already available, what was missing were authentic consumer voices that could bridge the gap between product features and real-life use .

  • The OUtcome

    expeerly reviews were placed directly in the product carousel on Interdiscount. Measuring shopper behavior before and after the integration showed clear results: add-to-carts increased on 4 of 5 products, with an average uplift of 82%. One product saw a decrease of 27%. Overall, add-to-carts across all products increased by 60% after expeerly reviews were integrated. Importantly, higher-priced products such as TVs showed similar positive effects to lower-priced products.

For this collaboration, expeerly sourced authentic consumer reviews for five Sony products across different categories.

Each review was tested against expeerly’s Trust Charta  standards to ensure clarity and credibility before being approved for upload.

The reviews were then integrated into the product carousel on Interdiscount through a Sony partner, ensuring maximum visibility for shoppers browsing the PDPs. This placement gave consumers authentic insights directly alongside product images and specifications, right at the moment of decision-making.

Clear Add-to-Cart Uplift of +60%

The impact of expeerly reviews on Interdiscount was immediate and measurable.

Four out of five products experienced add-to-cart uplifts averaging 82%, with one product seeing a decline of 27%.

When aggregated across all five products, the integration of expeerly reviews led to a 60% overall increase in add-to-carts.The consistency of uplift across both higher-priced products like TVs and more affordable categories demonstrated that authentic consumer reviews influence shopper confidence regardless of price point.

This confirmed that expeerly reviews act as a powerful lever for conversion across Sony’s product portfolio.
